Deb Bauer has been working with dogs and their families professionally for 35 years.  She brings to her work a lifetime of learning about canine behavior and wellbeing, and she has completed specific training in many modalities including the Tellington TTouch Method, Healing Touch for Animals, Canine Fitness and many others.

She supports and assists people to meet their dogs' needs in a way that provides for a wonderful quality of life and behavior that is easy to live alongside.  Her Well-Rounded Dog program considers the ideal lifestyle for both human and dog to create a plan which allows everyone's needs to be met, and for the dog's best behaviors to shine through.

Deb specializes in working with tougher behavior cases, including reactivity, repetitive compulsive-type patterns, fearful and feral behaviors such as is seen in puppy mill survivors, and those cases where multiple trainers, methods and practices have been tried without success.  Taking a holistic approach allows her to pinpoint the real reason behind the dog's behavior to create lasting change for the dog and their family.

Deb is an international expert in working with people and their visually and/or hearing-impaired dogs. She has published several books, including Through A Dark Silence: Loving and Living with Your Blind and Deaf Dog, as well as providing a blog and an online resource center to share her expertise with others.  She regularly offers virtual classes and personalized sessions to her students and is the creator of the Sense-Ability Method for Blind Dogs, a step-by-step program to compassionately help people and their dogs through the transition into blindness.
